Dermotonus Slim Ibramed – Endermotherapy and Vacuum Therapy Device

INDICATIONS

The device is recommended for treating cellulite, localized fat, fibrosis and adhesions (pre and post-surgery), edema, stretch marks, myofascial pain, burns, muscle contractures, wrinkles, fine lines, hyperkeratosis, pigmentation disorders, and scars. It is also useful for enlarged pores, microcomedone removal, and skin cleansing preparation.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The Dermotonus Slim should not be used on:

• Acne lesions or pustules
• Herpetic lesions
• Rosacea
• Fragile capillaries
• Psoriasis
• Diabetes mellitus
• Eczema
• Lupus erythematosus
• Recent isotretinoin use
• Immediately after sun exposure

SPECIFIC THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES

1. Mechanical Massage: A technique that simultaneously applies negative pressure (pressotherapy) with rollers exerting positive pressure. Also known as “palper-roller” (palpate and roll), it promotes increased local blood and lymphatic circulation, as well as mobilization of connective tissue, providing a deep skin massage.

2. Microdermabrasion (Diamond Peeling): A non-chemical peeling method for superficial skin rejuvenation, performed over a series of sessions (typically one to two weeks apart). It can be combined with other techniques. A diamond-tipped pen is used to achieve the desired results, hence the name Diamond Peeling.

   • Note: The diamond-tipped pen is not included with the device and can be purchased separately.

SPECIAL CARE

• No need for compression garments, cream, or oil during Mechanical Massage, as these may damage the components.
• Using non-compatible cables, electrodes, or accessories may increase emissions or reduce device immunity.
• Diamond tips can be sanitized with 70% alcohol or 0.5% alcoholic chlorhexidine.

APPLICATION LEVELS IN MICRODERMABRASION

• Level 1 – Superficial: Reaches only the epidermis, causing mild redness (erythema).
• Level 2 – Intermediate: Reaches the epidermis and part of the dermis, causing redness (hyperemia) and swelling (edema).
• Level 3 – Deep: Penetrates all skin layers, potentially causing bleeding and other reactions.
  • Note: Aestheticians and physiotherapists are limited to Level 1 applications. Deeper applications require pharmaceutical-grade anesthetic products, which are beyond the scope of these professionals.

COMPATIBLE COMBINATIONS WITH OTHER PRODUCTS

1. Dermotonus Slim + HF High Frequency:

   • For facial treatments, use Dermotonus Slim for comedone extraction. To prevent local inflammation, apply HF High Frequency with a Cauterizing Electrode or a Small Spherical Electrode.

2. Dermotonus Slim + Clear Peel (Buona Vita):

   • For enhanced skin cleansing, combine Dermotonus Slim (Diamond Peeling function) with glycolic acid found in Clear Peel by Buona Vita, which removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin looking clean and healthy.

   • The Dermotonus Slim allows both facial and body treatments. It includes facial and body ventouses and rollers. Diamond Peeling is possible if the optional Diamond Tip Kit is purchased (not included).

2. How should I clean the accessories?

   • After use, rinse with running water. For disinfection, use only a cotton pad soaked in 0.2% chlorhexidine digluconate (aqueous solution). Acrylic applicators can be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, and metal parts can be autoclaved.

3. What is the difference between Dermotonus Esthetic and Dermotonus Slim?

   • The Dermotonus Esthetic has Endermology, Diamond Peeling, and Crystal Peeling, while Dermotonus Slim only has Endermology. However, the Diamond Tip Kit can be purchased separately for Diamond Peeling applications.

4. What is Palper-Roller?

   • Also known as Endermology, Vacuum Therapy, Endermotherapy, Dermotonia, or Mechanical Massage, Palper-Roller uses negative pressure (pressotherapy) and positive pressure (rollers) to increase blood and lymphatic circulation and mobilize connective tissue, providing deep massage.
