The Neurodyn II by Ibramed is a device for applying electrical current via electrodes in direct contact with the patient. It is designed for the treatment of neuromuscular dysfunctions using TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation), and Russian current (medium-frequency burst-modulated current). It features four independent intensity-adjustable output channels and 32 pre-programmed protocols, making it easier for professionals to use and ensuring convenience in clinical routines.

The device has a front LCD screen that consumes less energy and gives the equipment a modern design. It includes a new graphic display, an adjustable timer from 1 to 60 minutes with an audible beep at the end of therapy, and a digital keyboard for programming, ensuring reliable data input. The therapy is non-invasive, does not cause dependence, and does not produce unwanted side effects, allowing patients to maintain their daily routine.

The device can be used in various areas of physiotherapy for non-invasive treatments and offers versatility due to its three current options and a Blue Light LCD display, which facilitates protocol and program identification. It can also be used for aesthetic treatments thanks to the Russian current feature.

Maintenance and Care:

To maintain the equipment’s longevity, follow these guidelines:

• Avoid placing it in vibrating, humid, hot, or dusty environments, as the device is not protected against water penetration.
• Do not place the device on soft surfaces (such as carpets or cushions) that could obstruct ventilation.
• Ensure proper air circulation if installed inside a built-in cabinet.
• Position the power cord safely to prevent tripping hazards and avoid placing furniture over it.
• Do not insert objects into the device’s openings or place liquid containers on it.
• For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid volatile substances like benzine, alcohol, thinner, or solvents, as they can damage the finish.
• Electrode cleaning should be done with water and neutral soap.

 

Special Precautions:

• Only use cables, electrodes, and accessories specified as compatible with the device, as using different ones may increase emissions or decrease immunity.
• Always apply the currents with a neutral conductive gel to ensure better conductivity and avoid air bubbles.
• In cases of obesity, the thickness of adipose tissue may insulate the motor nerve, altering sensitivity to the current.
• Peripheral neuropathy may prevent responses to short-duration electrical stimulation.
